We’re excited to introduce MSquared Avatars, a developer-first platform that makes it easy to create and deploy high-fidelity, interoperable avatars across web, mobile, and game environments.
Why most avatar systems fall short
Today’s digital experiences demand more from avatars than ever before, but most systems just don’t deliver. They’re either locked-down and inflexible, or visually impressive but too heavy for mobile and web use. Some don’t support open standards, while others lack runtime performance or scalable customization.
For developers building persistent, interactive worlds, this creates unnecessary roadblocks. We built MSquared Avatars to remove them.
A foundation for digital identity
At the core of MSquared Avatars is a React-based component library that can be embedded directly into any platform. It’s designed to be flexible out of the box, with clean styling, full theming support, and deep customization options for teams that want to tailor every detail.
Every avatar is delivered in an open 3D format (GLB), rigged to the Unreal Engine 5 skeleton, and compatible with modern rendering pipelines. You can use our hosted asset catalog or bring your own, giving you full control over how avatars are stored, customized, and deployed.
Ready for production, built for performance
MSquared Avatars are optimized for real-time use, with features like geometry masking, modular attachments, and performance-aware constraints that keep things smooth across devices. In short, they look great and run efficiently across all devices.

Our SDKs work with Unreal Engine and MSquared Web Worlds out of the box, with support for VRM and other formats coming soon. Whether you’re building a game, live event, XR tool, or creator platform, the integration is seamless and production-ready.
Already in action
MSquared Avatars recently powered the BBC Philharmonic’s virtual concert, where audiences could attend as expressive, customizable avatars. The event—delivered entirely in the browser via the Morpheus platform—blended live orchestral performance with shared presence, helping the BBC reach new, younger audiences in a completely new format.
Try it today
If you’re building immersive experiences and need avatar infrastructure that works, without sacrificing quality, performance, or flexibility, the MSquared Avatars demo is now available. For more information and to stay updated on progress, please get in touch.
General availability is planned for Q2 2025.
